Fishermen's Names New Board Members

Fishermen's Hospital is pleased to announce three new appointments to the Board of Advisors:  Michael L. Cunningham, The Reverend Debra Andrew-Maconaughey, and Marlene C. Morato.

Michael L. Cunningham serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Florida Keys Area Health Education Center, Inc. (AHEC).  For the past eight years, Mr. Cunningham, as the AHEC lead administrator, has carried out all duties and functions assigned by the Florida Keys AHEC Board of Directors, University of Miami School of Medicine and the Florida Department of Health.  In addition, he is actively involved as Chair or Board member at numerous local professional and civic organizations.

The Reverend Debra Andrew-Maconaughey is rector of St. Columba Episcopal Church in Marathon.  Ms. Maconaughey holds degrees from Virginia Theological Seminary, New York University and Temple University.  She has been involved in international missions.  She is the Chairperson of KAIR, SHAL of the Florida Keys and is on the Executive Committee of the Diocese of Southeast Florida and of Episcopal Charities.

Marlene Cruz Morato is a Certified Public Accountant, Consultant and owner of Cruz Morato and Associates.  Ms. Morato has an extensive background in the financial area.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the  University of West Florida.  Her professional credentials include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Florida Institute.  Ms. Morato, in addition to serving on the Fishermen's Hospital Board, is active in numerous Middle and Lower Keys organizations.
